Bratton
Street Project
The
Bratton Street Project, Stewpot's first community redevelopment
program, is located on the street directly behind Stewpot. Abandoned
and dilapidated homes are purchased and renovated through this
program. In its first year, nine houses were completed and nine
new mortgage-paying homeowners moved in. The new homeowners have
started their own Neighborhood Association with monthly meetings,
enrichment programs and holiday parties.
