Chaplaincy
for Personal Care Homes
There
are many personal care homes in the neighborhood Stewpot serves.
These homes are filled with elderly and disabled people who cannot
make it to Stewpot on their own. Chaplain Jo Hollman visits these
personal care homes and offers a pastoral presence to the residents
through regular visitation, prayer, counseling, and communion
services. We integrate personal care home residents into Stewpot
activities such as Bingo on Thursdays, the noon meal in the Community
Kitchen and holiday parties.
