Computer
Lab
Our
Computer Lab is located in the Stewpot Community Center. We offer
free job training, GED, and Internet classes and educational software.
The Computer Lab is a community resource that is especially important
to our children.
Facts
- All
of the computers have been donated by businesses and schools
in our area.
- The
Computer Lab is used every day by teens in our Neighborhood
Children's Program who are working or school projects or are
completing college applications.
- The
Lab is used by our community members who may work with a computer
tutor to learn how to navigate the World Wide Web or to write
a resume, in preparation for a job search.
Volunteering
As
a volunteer, you can:
- Be
a computer tutor - work with someone one-on-one and teach them
how to navigate the Internet, teach them how to use basic programs
and or teach simple computer skills.
- Teach
someone how to write a resume or to complete a job application.
