About

The mission of Matt’s House is to provide safe and compassionate emergency shelter to homeless women and homeless women with children. While at Matt's House, guests are provided meals, hygiene products, clothing, and referrals to housing and employment resources. Children staying at Matt’s House are enrolled in our After School and Summer Camp Programs. Case management also helps connect our guests to resources specific to each person’s needs.

  • Matt's House can host up to 18 guests per night.

  • Matt's House is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

  • A kitchen and laundry room are available on site.

  • For the safety of all, a new guest must be accompanied by law enforcement if arriving after 8pm

  • To stay at Matt’s House, women must be aged 18 or older, and children must be accompanied by an adult who is their parent or legal guardian. We ask for the following documents upon arrival but can provide assistance with obtaining these if they are lost or stolen:

    • A picture ID

    • Children’s birth certificate (if applicable)

    • Social security card
